Hold em Poker – Web Type Card Rooms In Traditional Gambling Halls – Like Wagering onHold’em on the Internet

Have you seen the new PokerPro hold em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks back when I took a quick getaway with my mom to the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma.

As I waited for my name to be called at the live tables, I watched how the other persons at the PokerPro tables interacted with each other. It was very fascinating to say the least. Since the poker table was computer powered, there were no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was boring. Maybe I was the only one that noticed this, except I did notice the gamblers at the table had a dull high quality to them. The cause of this may possibly be since there was no human discussion with the dealer, the environment was relatively dull and the gamblers looked bored. It was almost as if I was seeing a live version of a web based hold’em poker room rather than sitting with hot blooded humans. It was a tiny bit freaky and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of Star trek and the holodeck broke down.

Since the waiting time for the are living tables was over an hour, I decided to observe how the game action was and to encounter this new hold’em poker gaming technology. After wagering a couple of hands, I actually felt like I was wagering at residence. The lack of activity on the table was the primary reason. I like to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are possible at these digital tables.

Another thing I observed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a whole lot of hands at the PokerPro table and discovered that the play was a great deal like an online hold em poker website. That might have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to be very odd.

After wagering a couple of rounds with this "unique hold’em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m better off betting hold’em poker on the net at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling den were to have rid of the reside poker tables, I think they would shed a great deal of players.
