Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with 21 than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the bank instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different players are given 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original wager, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your ante goes instantaneously to the casino. After the bet is the face off. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, plus a figure on par with the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The dealer pony’s up money even with your original bet and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
